Sustainable Development Goal 14 is exclusively dedicated to ‘conserve and sustainably use the oceans and seas and marine resources for sustainable development’. Of the ten targets relating to SDG 14, there are three targets explicitly focused on the trade-related aspects of fisheries. This UNCTAD and FAO report provides a current review, case studies, information on partnerships, identification of gaps, opportunities and challenges, and addresses recommendations for the fisheries sector.
