The Party of European Socialists (PES) brings together the Socialist, Social Democratic, Labour and Democratic Parties from all over the European Union, United Kingdom, and Norway. Together with 33 full member parties, and 12 associate and 12 observer parties, the PES fights for a better and more progressive Europe. The policy on Employment and Social Affairs stated in the PES 2019 Manifesto for the European elections, outlines the top priority which is that Europeans, women and men, must have decent jobs that allow a good quality of life.
