The Green Party in the United Kingdom is a democratic organisation in which their members from all walks of life and not only professional politicians, decide on policy. The policy process produces an organic and evolving document known as ‘Policies for a Sustainable Society or PSS, that reflects the party’s current priorities and principles. The Energy policy document focuses inter alia on power, buildings, industry, transport, research & development, skills and training, social well being and health, and finance.
