The Green Party in the United Kingdom is a democratic organisation in which their members from all walks of life and not only professional politicians, decide on policy. The policy process produces an organic and evolving document known as ‘Policies for a Sustainable Society or PSS, that reflects the party’s current priorities and principles. The Crime and Justice policy places emphasis on the Green Party’s approach to crime which places emphasis on the social causes of crime, such as poverty, inequality and drug addiction.
