The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Zero waste: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, aims to shift the country towards clean production and principles of zero waste.
