The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Work and Job Creation supports a system providing sustainable livelihoods, and an ability to create jobs through inter alia reducing the work week hours which will allow for millions of new jobs, supporting small businesses by reducing tax and bureaucratic burdens, and minimising outsourcing.
