The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Health supports single-payer universal health care and preventive care for all, where health care is a right and not a privilege.
