The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS policy on Nuclear Issues identifies inter alia the action it would take to stop nuclear waste, the improved management of nuclear underground storage, the early retirement of nuclear power reactors, and its opposition to shipment of high-level nuclear waste.
