The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The ‘Green New Deal’ document describes the party’s commitment to solving the climate crisis by combining quick action to get to the net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and 100% renewable energy by 2030 along with an ‘Economic Bill of Rights’.
