The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Clean Air and Ozone Depletion promotes strict maintenance of the protection programmes that deal with smog, toxic air pollution, acid rain and ozone depletion.
