The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Banking and Insurance Reform aims to reform the financial industries to eliminate high interest rates on loans and ensure they meet their obligations to taxpayers and local communities.
