The ANC policy on international relations reinforces the ANC’s commitment to the African Union and its programmes, to the Pan African Parliament, the Southern African Development Community (SADC), and to continental and international solidarity. The policy outlines the party’s approach to various states in Africa and party-to-party relations amongst former liberation movements. It reinforces South Africa’s role in the G20 and calls for the reform of the IMF and World Bank. The policy advocates for the expansion of the UN Security Council to ensure all continents are represented.
