The ANC Consolidated Report on Organisational Renewal has three parts. Part B deals with strengthening the integrity of the ANC and its role in society.
Section 30 focuses on social distance whereby ANC leaders are required to behave as servants of the people, striving to work with people and respond to their concerns and problems. Sections 31 and 32 look at measures to strengthen the party’s values, ethics and morality, including steps to take to deal with allegations of corruption, and the role of the Integrity Committee. Section 33 introduces dispute resolution mechanisms to tackle organisational matters of discipline.
