Who are we?

The Swedish Social Democratic Party and the Swedish Green Party are working together to support the growth and development of green and social democratic parties in Africa, enabling them to better serve their constituencies. They aim to do this by making existing local and international resources available using an online platform.

What do we do?

We gather relevant resources (documents, videos, links) on the following policies and systems of green and social democratic parties:

Political party policies on topics such as economic development, governance, environment, education and social welfare, etc
Political party systems including party constitutions, membership systems, policy-making processes and leadership, and candidate selection processes

Who can benefit?

Any green or social democratic parties can benefit from the open-source site. The main target for the project is green and social democratic parties in Mozambique, Angola, South Africa, Madagascar, Namibia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The website will be mainly in English, but wherever possible, French and Portuguese resources will be available.
