The Green Party United States (GPUS) was founded in 1984 on a foundation of 10 Key Values. The GPUS Platform consists of Four Pillars: Democracy; Social Justice; Ecological Sustainability; and Economic Justice and Sustainability. The GPUS policy on Population addresses issues linked to over-consumption, waste, and the political and economic barriers that prevent women from having the resources necessary to become family planners.
